  • A New Science is born!

At a recent congress of The Evolution of Psychotherapy (2013) many representatives of Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics presented new answers to important questions:

What are the relationships between Mind, Body and Behavior?

Is it possible to measure the results of psychotherapy in an objective manner?

"What is Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics?"

  • An International Scientific Community

This website is the place where international scientists decided to meet each other in order to share the result of their efforts in clinical and research field, if you want to know something more about them look in the Partners Area:

Psychosocial and Cultural Genomoics was recently highlighted in the USA National Psychologist 2014 review of The Evolution of Psychotherapy Conference, which is reproduced here.

We welcome you to join our community of international research scientists to bring further understanding to this new field of Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics.

  • The Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics Mission Statement

Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics facilitates and integratesneuroscience, psychotherapy and genomics to explore how psychosocial and cultural experiences modulates gene expression, brain plasticity, health and consciousness to optimize the human condition.

  • The Research Mission

Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics explores and integrates neuroscience with gene expression via DNA/proteomic microarray research and brain imaging to facilitate the “top down” psychotherapeutic optimization of the human condition.

  • International Training

A typical example of the type of education and professional training opportunities offered by Ernest and Kathryn Rossi is available to national and international individual and professional groups.  They also work via Skype, Zoom and other mode of tele-communication.

Title: An Introduction to Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics: Facilitating the 4-Stage Cycle of Creative Consciousness for Resolving Stress-Related Problems of Anxiety and Depression in Everyday Life.

Why do we sleep and dream? Why have most cultures developed meditation, spiritual and holistic practices to facilitate health and well-being? Recent research has uncovered a profound yet sensible answer to these eternal questions. Sleep clears the mind by permitting 60% more cerebral spinal fluid to wash through the brain to remove toxic metabolic waste products of the daily wears and tears of life! (Xie, et al 2013, Underwood, 2013) We will explore how this research can help us understand the scientific dynamics of faith, belief, meditation and holistic practices of all cultures throughout the ages (Hadamard, 1945). We will share our dreams and early morning thoughts to facilitate our new growing edges of consciousness and creative cognition with this perspective. We will explore how to use the 4-stage creative cycle to optimize our health and happiness particularly during important life transitions (Rossi & Rossi, 2012). Very gentle practices of meditative yoga will be introduced so everyone can learn how to recognize their natural RNA/DNA psychosocial genomic transformations of therapeutic consciousness. This professional training is for psychologists, therapists and the general public interested in practical self-help techniques for coping with anxiety, depression and stress-related dysfunctions in everyday life.

1)     Learn how to recognize the 4-Stage Creative Process as you experience it in your everyday life of work and play.

2)     Learn how to recognize the natural Basic Rest-Activity Cycle (every 90-120 minutes) in your dreams and early morning thoughts to optimize your well-being throughout the day.

3)     Practice practical techniques for coping with anxiety and depression by converting the Ultradian Stress Response to the Ultradian Healing Response in your everyday life.

4)     Experience recent research on clearing the brain of metabolic toxins during normal sleep to optimize memory, learning and health.

CIPPS (Internationa Center of Strategic Psychology and Psychotherapy) in Salerno, Italy (www.cipps.it) is the first european center totally focused on the integration of the ericksonianan Therapeutical perspective with neuroscience and the Ernest Rossi Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics. The centre is characterized by training, research and clinical activities.  The centre offers training courses about Rossi's method for psychologists and medics such as:  Full immersion one week basic training courses (40 hours) or advanced (80 hours) to learn how to use the method on a group setting; 3) Master course of 11 weekends; 4) Specialization school in strategic psychotherapy with a neuroscientific approach (4 years).
